Vision Statement

The mission of Walter Hall Elementary School, the visionary community of courageous learners, is to nurture self-confident students who are future community leaders that exhibit personal growth through valuable relationships, innovative learning experiences, and limitless possibilities all in the pursuit of excellence.

E-STEM Overview

E-STEM is an acronym for Elementary - Science,Technology, Engineering and Math. Students in E-STEM schools participate in a highly enriched curriculum that focuses on STEM subjects. They are expected to think critically and solve real-world problems. E-STEM schools have an increased focus on engineering through basic design application and technology that is infused throughout the entire curriculum.

Grade Levels Included in the Program

The E-STEM program is implemented in every grade level for students who attend Hall Elementary as their home school. In addition, the school district has approved the addition of extra spaces in kindergarten for students who are in CCISD, but outside the Walter Hall attendance zone. These spaces will be chosen through a lottery system.  Students who would like to participate must fill out a lottery application. Students in grades 1st - 5th may transfer into the program through a  transfer request as space allows. See Student Transfers, and CCISD Policy FDA/FDB (LOCAL) for more information.
  • Transfer window opens in March.
  • Lottery is held electronically in May.
